The NOUKANNIEMI
Hotel-Restaurang is a versatile service center and a cosy family hotel, a pearl on the northern shore of Lake Päijänne.

The facilities meet the requirements of various occasions: meetings, reunions, family celebrations and dinners and festivities for bigger groups. The dining room has seats for 150 people, `a la carte and buffet. A specialty of the house is the traditional "robber steak". The Noukanniemi has two summer terraces, one with 180 and the other with 50 seats. The hotel also has a meeting room for 30 people. The Noukanniemi also has a kiosk selling foodstuff and soft drinks, a marina with berths for local and visiting boats, refuelling berth and space for the winter storing of boats). The Noukanniemi Marina has several times received the Blue Flag emblem yearly awarded by Brussels. The hotel-restaurang is open all year round.

Hotel services
Eight quiet and cosy double rooms. Spare beds are available. All rooms are none-smoking and suitable for people with allergies. With thought for the physically handicapped all services are located on the same level. The rooms have toilet, shower and telephone, some also a tv-set.

Restaurant services
Our fully licenced restaurant serves good traditionally Finnish home-cooked meals. A specialty of the house is "rosvopaisti" (robber steak), mutton baked in a pit in earth (for a minimum of 10 persons). `A la carte meals are served all day, buffet on group reservations. Customers` wishes are fulfilled as well as possible. Groups, when e.g. going to the theatre or concert, can well enjoy dining together in our clean and none-smoking dining room in beautiful natural surroundings right on the shore of Päijänne.

Festival services
We offer many alternatives for arranging various family celebrations ( wedding, christening, confirmation, graduation, birthday, memorial etc.) either in our or your locality. Please, call and let us plan together.

Meeting facilities
Our peaceful locality in countryside, though not far from town (c. 14 km), offers excellent surroundings for meetings and educational sessions of a few hours or several days. They can be held e.g. by the open fire in our meeting room equipped with overhead projector, flip chart and video apparatus. Between or after the sesssions you can relax outdoors swimming, hiking, skiing, playing games etc. or have a sauna and evening snack before calling it a day.
